Ayushmann Khurrana's Dream Girl Director Apologises To Swara Bhasker After Uproar; Bhasker Slams Him For Going Personal
Bollywood actress Swara Bhasker has always been vocal about her criticism over India’s ruling political party, despite coming across a lot of threats, abuses, trolls and criticism on a regular basis. The actress has, time and again, given her haters a befitting reply and shut them down for all the attacks. At present, Swara is busy protesting against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and the recently-held violent attacks on JNU students. Not very long ago, Ayushmann Khurrana’s Dream Girl director Raaj Shaandilyaa criticised the actress in a very distasteful manner. He went onto call her ‘sasti cheez’.

This certainly didn’t go down very well with Swara, as she slammed the writer-turned-filmmaker with a savage response. Soon after her tweet, Raaj issued an apology to Swara; however, he also asked her to think before speaking. “If you do not like my words, then my heartfelt apology but there is a request from you too that you should also think before speaking anything about anyone, whether it is a country or a particular person…. I will definitely play the role offer because I don't mind being your actor ,” read Raaj’s tweet. Now, Swara being Swara, she yet again shut him down with a befitting response. Swara, in her tweet, asked Raaj to not to go personal. She wrote, “If ??? Such a cheap person would object to such cheap things as 'cheap, sellable'! And you are not thinking before you speak and type sir! We are opposed to ideology and logic - you are being personal. And what right can you or I object to someone being an actor or a citizen? :)”
